My company is in the middle of launching a new product, and I have been spending most of my waking hours working in one way or another.

Our VP of Sales was in town this week watching me work. I think I’m pretty good at sales and I really hate for people to watch me do something I think I am good at because they may discover I’m actually NOT good at it, and having someone think you are bad at something you think you are good at is pretty soul crushing. This is why I don’t sing in front of people (with my real voice)! So I went out COLD CALLING with almost my bossiest boss (she’s not bossy, she’s just very high up on the boss totem pole). Can you even believe that? Who does that? I’m very proud of myself for powering through 2 days of it and walking away with solid contacts, one signed contract, and her approval.

I think I have grown a ton professionally and personally this month because of this launch. And I’ve earned myself enough money for my dream computer, so come March 1, you can find me at the Apple store picking it up!
